THE Conservative Party has selected its prospective parliamentary candidate to take on Labour’s sitting MP Ian Austin in Dudley North.
Former military man, Afzal Amin, will be the Tory representative for the consistency in the 2015 General Elections.
A statement on the party website says Mr Amin was raised in the Black Country and is now entering politics after a career in the British Army, which saw him undertake active service in Iraq, as well as three tours of duty in Afghanistan.
Mr Amin, who has been married to his wife Michelle for twenty years, have two teenage children together.
UKIP has previously announced Bill Etheridge as its party candidate for Dudley North.
