A SEDGLEY businesswoman braved the world's fastest zip line to raise money for Diabetes UK.
Kay Bowen was joined by 40 other Cambridge Weight Plan consultants as she zoomed along Velocity at Zip World, north Wales last month.
She raised £880 - which included a donation from Dudley North MP Ian Austin - and in total, the team pulled in more than £11,600 for the charity.
Kay, who runs the Sedgley Weight Loss Centre in Bilston Street, said: “The day will live in my memory forever as one of the most thrilling things I have ever done.
“Diabetes is an issue close to my heart so I am really pleased to be able to raise money for a charity which does so much good work to support people with the condition."
