A WOMAN passed away after suffering a medical emergency in the Milking Bank area of Dudley on Bank Holiday Friday, ambulance service bosses have confirmed.
The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity was alerted along with other emergency personnel at around 4.40pm on Friday June 3.
Despite the best efforts of medics, however, the woman was confirmed to have died at the scene.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 4.40pm on Friday to reports of a medical emergency off Sovereign Drive.
"We sent two ambulances, two paramedic officers and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford.
"Crews arrived to find a woman in a critical condition and administered advanced life support at the scene.
"However sadly, despite the best efforts, nothing could be done to save the woman and she was confirmed deceased on scene.”
