WORK to stop a water leak on a busy road in Kingswinford has been completed and the road has now reopened, highways officials have confirmed.
South Staffs Water has notified Dudley Council that its work has been completed in Stallings Lane.
The company had been working on the water leak for several days, with temporary traffic lights in place.
Councillor Damian Corfield, the council's cabinet member for highways and environment, said: “I’m pleased that South Staffs Water have completed their work and motorists can use that busy road as normal.
"Unfortunately, no one gets any notice about issues like this but thankfully the work has been completed as quickly as possible.”
