HIGHWAYS chiefs have closed Beacon Lane, Sedgley, to traffic due to a gas leak.
The lane is expected to be closed from outside 5 to outside 28 Beacon Lane until Thursday January 11.
All traffic will be diverted via: Cross Lane, Greenway, Beacon Rise and vice versa.
The temporary emergency closure has been ordered to enable workers to safely carry out repair works following a gas escape.
