X-FACTOR Louis Walsh made a surprise visit to Pensnett at the weekend, fuelling speculation Wagner Fiuza Carrilho is his wildcard and is set to appear on the live show from this weekend.
Residents could not believe their eyes when the Irish music mogal, with a film crew in tow, turned up at the 54 year-old's home on Sunday, after he failed to make it through the judge's home stage of the competition.
It is thought in a new twist of the show format, each judge will be allowed a wildcard to bring back one of the contestants they dismissed.
Louis was spotted at the Village Hotel in Dudley, as well as speaking to the Brazilian born retired PE teacher in his Pensnett home's street.
In last week's programme, viewers saw Wagner travel to Ireland to sing for Louis and fellow guest judge Sharon Osbourne, in the over 28 category.
Speaking on the programme, Wagner, who is thought to be a fourth dan black belt and is also thought to teach karate in the borough, said he wanted to go through for a "new start" and to be able to provide for his son and "give him any toy he wants".
