A DUDLEY based cleaning company is celebrating its 30th anniversary by holding an auction to raise money towards a Peruvian aid mission
The fundraising event, at ServiceMaster in Thornleigh Trading Estate, will include boxing gloves signed by legends Joe Frazier and Joe Calzaghe, Cliff Richard tickets, a signed golf flag by Sir Nick Faldo, a house clean and a window clean.
Bosses decided to hold the auction in aid of Peru because of Kinver charity worker Margaret Saunderson, who has spent three decades as a missionary in Peru.
ServiceMaster director Hugh Shepheard-Walwyn said: "I have known Margaret personally for decades. She started work in the shanty towns of Lima exactly the same time as we started business in Dudley.
"We have been delighted with the response from our customers, suppliers and friends and all money raised will help build new facilities, provide books and educational materials and to feed the hungry."
The auction will take place at the company’s unit on Friday at 11.30am.
Anyone wishing to donate a late item for the auction, or make a donation, should call 01384 457243 or email dudley@servicemasterclean.co.uk
