Dudley Council have announced another scheme to revamp Brierley Hill. The £5million allocated and I quote help improve connections to transport access, the look and feel of the area, more seating, planters, trees, parking and cycling facilities.
Councillor Simon Phipps Cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise stated It's important we look at improving town centres to make them as welcoming and accessible as possible adding people's views are key to that, I urge people to take the time to fill in the short questionnaire on line.
The forgotten people of Stourbridge would any questionnaire to suggest improvements to the High Street.
No improvements have been carried out to the main High Street and Rye Market for years, there are uneven, broken and patched areas of pavements everywhere you look.
Nothing to attract visitors, let alone residents into the town.
Can Stourbridge High Street please be important enough to Dudley Council to be next on your list for a town to revamp.
