MULTI-million selling singer Lisa Stansfield is kicking off her latest UK tour in Birmingham with a show at the Symphony Hall.
The iconic R&B singer sold more than 15 million albums after breaking through with the hit All Around The World which was taken from the 1989 album Affection.
The Base Sessions team caught up with Lisa Stansfield at the recent Nordoff Robins music charity Silver Clef awards for a chat about how music therapy can help change the lives of people suffering with a range of illnesses and conditions.
Lisa is set for a busy end to 2014, following her British tour, which starts on Friday September 5 at the Symphony Hall, she is heading to Europe for more live dates to promote her latest album – Seven.
Seven marks a return to the story-telling style Lisa Stansfield’s lyrics are best known for, she said: “I think we all suffer the same pain, all feel the same happiness, and we all have the same emotions within us.”
