VIEWERS of X-Factor have been doing a double take after the return of 2012 boot camp singer Danny Dearden.
The 23-year-old is back in this year’s competition and has made it through to the next level after being selected for Mel B’s six chair challenge, which will take him through to the judge’s house and possibly a place in the live finals.
His performance of If You Love Me by Brownstone certainly struck a chord with the former Spice Girl turned judge who told him: “That was a killer song, a killer vocal and a slam dunk of a performance.”
The Base Sessions team caught up with Danny for a chat about his X-Factor experiences including how he felt performing at Wembley Arena for an audience of 5,000 and an insight into life behind the scenes of the hit TV show.
The Base Sessions is recorded and produced by Base Studios in Stourbridge.
