THE festive season would not be complete without a trip to the pantomime and this year’s offering at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre does not disappoint.
Peter Pan is the ultimate pirate panto and The Chuckle Brothers steal the show as they take families on a swashbuckling adventure to Neverland.
The comedy duo play Starkey and Smee and have the audience in fits of laughter throughout with their antics, which include giving a few unlucky audience members a face full of whipped cream (although there is champers to soften the blow).
You can’t help but root for Peter, Wendy and the Lost Boys as they fight against a team of pirates and the dastardly Captain Hook, played by John Altman - best known for his role as Eastenders bad boy Nasty Nick.
Youngsters and adults alike can’t help but boo and hiss when he comes onstage and celebrate as he gets his comeuppance thanks to a certain crocodile.
This festive treat will entertain all ages with an abundance of comedy, fabulous costumes, live music and spectacular special effects.
Peter Pan runs until January 24 and tickets can be booked by calling 01902 429212 or clicking here.
