DUDLEY Little Theatre will be staging two John Godber comedy gems which follow the lives of 1980s bouncers and cocktail waitresses.
The society is presenting Godber's Bouncers and Shakers, co-written with Jane Thornton, at the Netherton Arts Centre, Northfield Road, Netherton, from Wednesday March 9 to Saturday 12.
Both fast-paced plays, about working class men and women trapped in dead end jobs, see four actors playing multiple roles.
The first - Bouncers - follows four nightclub doormen who morph into recognisable characters from the club scene. While audiences meets the cocktail waitresses at Shakers in the second half.
Performances run from 7pm each night. The box office and bar open at 7pm.
Tickets cost £8, (£7 concessions - and there's a ten per cent reduction on group bookings).
They are available from DLT's website www.dudleylittletheatre.org or by calling Chris Ridgeway on 01384 872583 or 07582 318017; or Rebecca Clee on 07954 424555.
