The Ghostbusters car and A-Team van are just two of the vehicles that are available for couples looking to get their wedding plans in the right gear at Priory Hall’s wedding open day.
The perfect wedding day transport will be on offer at the event on Saturday March 15, with 11 different car companies attending, as well as much more.
Vehicles ranging from classic cars to VW camper vans will be on show at the event as alternative ways for brides and grooms to travel in style on their big day.
Information on the ceremony cars, as well as wedding cakes, balloons, photographers, bridal wear, suit hire, flowers and much more will all be on offer from the various exhibitors at the event.
The grade II-listed Priory Hall registration office will open its doors on the day to give people the chance to view the venue and its surroundings in Priory Park. The park features the old Priory ruins and is overlooked by Dudley Castle.
In addition, models will re-create marriage ceremonies at the venue and fashion shows will be held throughout the day. Registrars will also be on hand to answer questions and offer help and advice.
Councillor Gaye Partridge, cabinet member for human resources, law and governance, said:
“The open day is an ideal opportunity for engaged couples to pick up tips, gain advice and even book suppliers for their happy day. It is also a good chance for would-be husbands or wives to see Priory Hall in all its glory, so that they can decide whether to get married at this stunning Grade II-listed venue.”
The Priory Hall open day wedding exhibition will run from 10am to 4pm. For more information call 01384 815373.
