The crash scene where roads were closed for several hours while police investigated the tragedy.
POLICE have named the cyclist who died following a collision with a lorry in Gornal on August 8.
The victim of the tragedy has been identified as 50-year-old Lorraine Rowson from Dudley, she was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at the junction of Burton Road and Eve Lane, Lower Gornal.
Specialist officers from West Midlands Police are continuing to support Mrs Rowson’s family as they grieve the loss of a wife and mother.
Officers from the force’s Collision Investigation Unit are continuing to appeal for witnesses to contact them on 101.
