MEMBERS of Dudley's Muslim community have invited residents of all faiths to join them for an open day on Saturday (February 28).
Visitors will be able to take a tour of Central Mosque, Birmingham Street, and will be invited to ask questions about Islam and find out more about plans for the proposed new mosque.
The event, which will run from 10.30am to 4.30pm, aims to promote harmonious relations and encourage deeper cultural and religious understanding.
Free literature on Islam and refreshments will be provided.
Mosque chairman Mohammed Aurangzeb said: "We want to use this open day to thank everyone who stood in solidarity in the recent events.
"More importantly its about giving local people the opportunity to ask any questions.
"Volunteers will be at hand to make everyone feel welcome and to show you around the mosque."
