I grew up in Halesowen and I live in Cradley Heath.
I work here and I’m proud of our community.
I want to live in a fairer country where people play by the rules and are rewarded for hard work.
Britain only succeeds when working people succeed. Too many people in our area work more than 36 hours a week but still can't pay the bills at the end of the month. That's why I support an increase in the minimum wage and a cut to the starting rate of tax.
I'm a campaigner and led the community campaign against the removal of the direct buses to our local hospital. Over a 1000 people took part in the campaign. To stop this happening again local councils need greater powers over bus routes. Labour will do this.
As a former teacher I know how good schools give our children the best start in life. That's why I support Labour's plan to ring fence the education budget.
As the daughter of a nurse, I will always fight for the NHS.
Many local people tell me they feel let down by the Conservatives.
