THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between December 14 and 18:

Mathew Dunn, aged 19, of Himley Gardens, Lower Gornal, was discharged conditionally for six months for assaulting a senior police officer in Brierley Hill on November 23. He must pay compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £15 and £285 court costs.

Chad Boyer Foley, aged 39, of High Street, Lye, was discharged conditionally for six months for stealing clothing, worth £14.99, from Matalan, Brierley Hill, on November 28. He must pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £285 court costs.

Ronald Ernest Field, aged 56, of Birch Road, Oldbury, was given a three month community order for possessing amphetamines in Halesowen on April 21. He was also sentenced for dishonestly receiving stolen goods and having a tracker scanner device with him for use in the course of or in connection with theft of a motor vehicle. He was given a three month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £1,300 court costs.

Wayne Charles Asson, aged 52, of Queen Street, Kingswinford, was given a four month community order for drink driving in Brierley Hill on November 29. When tested, he had 101mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for two years and must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £235 court costs.

Anthony Lee Foster, aged 36, of Holly Road, Holly Hall, was fined £200 for drink driving in Dudley on November 28. When tested, he had 68mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for driving without a licence, insurance or MOT. Foster was disqualified from driving for 20 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £235 court costs.

Mark James Hardy, aged 35, of Cemetery Road, Lye, was sent to prison for 46 weeks for stealing items, worth £279.58, from shops in Stourbridge and Kingswinford between December 3 and 5, while subject to a suspended sentence. He was also sentenced for assaulting a man and driving without due care and attention, whilst disqualified and without insurance, in Stourbridge on December 3. He was disqualified from driving for 23 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £180 court costs.

David John Lain, aged 31, of Ridge Road, Kingswinford, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting a woman in Brierley Hill on November 24. He must carry out 40 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £235 court costs.

Michael John Taylor, aged 30, of Dando Road, Dudley, was fined £480 for drink driving in Dudley on November 7. When tested, he had 66mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for driving without a licence, insurance or MOT. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £24 and £285 court costs.

Andrew Bruce Watkins, aged 48, of High Street, Stourbridge, was given a six month community order for assaulting a woman and causing £150 worth of damage to a mobile phone in Brierley Hill on November 6. He was given a three month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay compensation of £150, a victim surcharge of £60 and £285 court costs.

Allan Cooper, aged 34, of Marigold Crescent, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting two women in Dudley on July 16. He must carry out 100 hours unpaid work and pay compensation of £150, a victim surcharge of £60 and £500 court costs.

Andrew Gordon, aged 28, of Gordon Crescent, Brierley Hill, was given a 12 month community order for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with the intention to cause someone harassment, alarm or distress, in Brierley Hill on July 12. The offence was racially aggravated. He must carry out 80 hours unpaid work, pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £500 court costs.

Neelum Choudhary, aged 39, of Windsor Crescent, Dudley, was given a six month community order for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe that violence would be used, in Dudley on May 19. He was given a six week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £60 and £350 court costs.

Paige Nicole Mobberley, aged 19, of Lawnswood, Wordsley, was fined £100 for drink driving in Sedgley on October 29. When tested she had 40mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. She was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must pay £285 court costs Judith Elaine George, aged 55, of John Street, Brierley Hill, was given a 12 month community order for stealing goods, worth £98.78, from Wilkinson, Stourbridge, on October 24. She must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £285 court costs.

Johnathon Christopher Paul Gosling, aged 22, of Hagley Road, Halesowen, was sent to prison for 16 weeks, suspended for 18 months, for assaulting a man in Brierley Hill on February 14. He must carry out 200 hours unpaid work and pay compensation of £400, a victim surcharge of £80 and £725 court costs.

When tested he had 80 mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for driving without a licence or insurance. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and must carry out 150 hours of unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £285 court costs.
