AN award-winning short story writer and novelist whose work has appeared on Radio 4 will be leading a literary discussion at Sedgley Library next week.
The free 'Literary Salon' event on Monday, February 29, will be led by Lisa Blower who won the Guardian’s National Short Story competition in 2009 and has taught creative writing at Bangor University.
A series of topical and related questions at the event will kick off discussions based on the theme of love and Valentines.
Cllr Rachel Harris, cabinet member for health and wellbeing, said: “Lisa is a very experienced writer and teacher and I’m sure there will be some very lively discussions that will no doubt cover a lot of ground related to the event’s love theme.”
The Literary Salon is funded by West Midlands Readers Network and starts at 2pm at the Priory Lane-based library.
Contact the library on 01384 812790 to book a place at the event.
