DUDLEY youngsters flew through space, swam in the Great Barrier Reef and explored the Amazon rainforest last week - without leaving the classroom.
The immersive trips came courtesy of Google Expeditions, who visited Kates Hill Primary School with the virtual reality teaching tools last week, allowing teachers to bring their lessons to life.
Kevin Orchard, the school's year six science co-ordinator, said: "This was an incredible experience for the children.
"Every year group was fully engaged and talked about the experience for the rest of the week."
He continued: "We are looking for donations of old mobile phones from companies or individuals that we can use in school to enable the experience to be repeated on a regular basis as I am convinced it will be a fantastic learning tool."
Anyone who can help should contact the school on 01384 818700.
