A WOMAN has died after being hit by a car in Netherton.
The accident took place on March 19 on Baptist End Road, after which a 43-year-old woman was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
Police have confirmed she died seven days later on March 26 as a result of her injuries.
Officers are continuing to investigate the collision.
A police spokesperson said: "Officers continue to investigate a collision between a pedestrian and a car on Baptist End Road, Netherton that happened shortly after 3pm on 19 March.
"The pedestrian, a 43-year-woman, was taken to hospital in a critical condition. She sadly passed away on 26 March as a result of her injuries.
"The driver of a silver Peugeot 307 stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries."
