A STOP and search operation carried out by police looking for knives in Dudley town centre led to arrests for suspected machete possession.
Three teenagers were arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article on Bank Holiday Monday (May 6).
A 16-year-old boy from Dudley, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place.
He has been bailed and will appear before Wolverhampton Youth Court next month.
Two boys, aged 16 and 17-years-old, have been released without charge.
The day also saw a knife arch in operation in the town centre in a bid to crack down on knife crime.
