BIG hearted members of West Midlands Ambulance Service will take on a sponsored head shave at Russells Hall Hospital next month.
Mick Clee, Dave Porter, Blake Soley and Phil Baxter, four members of patient transport staff, will brave the shave to raise funds for better baby bereavement services at the hospital.
Money raised will go to Supporting Baby Bereavement, a campaign launched by The Dudley Group NHS Charity to improve the environment in which bereaved families spend time adjusting to the death of their baby.
Money will be spent on improving the hospital's bereavement suite by installing a double bed so parents can stay overnight and soundproof walls. The fund also aims to provide more specialist staff training to help bereaved families.

The head shave takes place on Monday July 8 in the main reception at Russells Hall Hospital.
