FOUR masked men threatened a woman in her Halesowen home in a terrifying burglary.
The shocking incident happened in Meadow Road just after 3am this morning (Wednesday November 27).
Detectives are appealing for information after the burglars forced their way into the family home - with two children in the address at the time.
The masked men were confronted by a 28-year-old woman who was ordered to hand over car keys.
The gang made off with a white BMW, registration PW10 AWX, and other personal belongings.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said there were two children in the address at the time, but although shaken by the experience, no-one was injured.
Detective Sergeant Leighton Shingles, from force CID, said: "To come face to face with burglars in your own home is distressing and traumatic.
"At this stage we don’t believe there was any pre-planned intention to harm anyone at the address but we’re keen to identify the men involved as soon as possible.
"The BMW is likely to have rear damage after hitting a fence while being driven off and we need to trace it.
"I would urge anyone with information which can assist our investigation to get in touch."
