BUS services running between Dudley, Stourbridge, Kingswinford and Gornal are in line for a shake up at the end of this month.
Operator National Express West Midlands has announced a series of changes to come into force on January 26.
The changes follow a consultation carried out last year looking at services in the western part of the borough.
The number 17 service between Stourbridge and Dudley via Gornal has been saved from the axe following the consultation, which saw a petition launched to save the route.
It will however run an altered route between Stourbridge and Kingswinford, replacing the current number 5 service.
The 17 will run up to every 30 minutes between Dudley, Gornal and Kingswinford. At busy times, it will continue to Stourbridge every 30 minutes, but will continue to Stourbridge only every 60 minutes at quieter times.
The current 8 service between Wollaston and Dudley will be extended beyond Dudley to Wolverhampton via the Birmingham New Road.
Other changes include a more frequent number 16 service between Stourbridge and Wolverhampton via Kingswinford; the extension of the number 11 from Dudley to Merry Hill and more buses between Dudley and Wrens Nest.
National Express West Midlands say the changes will provide more frequent and punctual services for passengers.
Staff from National Express will be on hand at Dudley and Stourbridge bus stations next week to answer any questions.
Information sessions take place at Dudley bus station on Tuesday January 14 between 7.30am and 6.30pm outside the Travelshop.
Staff will be at Stourbridge bus station on Thursday January 16 between 7.30am and 6.30pm by the timetables stand.
Leaflets detailing the changes are also available to pick up at the bus stations.
