DUDLEY Council has confirmed the swimming pools at Dudley Leisure Centre will re-open tomorrow (Wednesday January 22).
The two pools had been closed since January 13 due to a technical fault - with swimmers diverted to Stourbridge’s Crystal Leisure Centre and Halesowen Leisure Centre.
Issues with the pressurisation unit and one of the boilers, which resulted in low poolside temperatures, was blamed for the closure - with the work to fix the problem costed at £2,750.
Council bosses have apologised for the inconvenience and said both pools would be back open on Wednesday January 22.

A brand new state-of-the-art leisure centre for Dudley is expected to open in 2021 on the site of the town's Flood Street car park.
Preparations have already got underway and the car park has now been closed to the public
The existing leisure centre on Wellington Road will remain open until the new facility is up and running.
