A NEW 'luxury' care home is set to open in Sedgley, creating 50 jobs.
Sedgley Court will be unveiled in the autumn and will include 66 en suite bedrooms at its complex on Brick Kiln Way in Gospel End.
Bosses Ideal Carehomes are promising a luxury facility, featuring a cinema, a botanical room leading onto landscaped gardens, a traditional tea shop, beauty parlour and Sky Bar.
It will be the company's 22nd home and follows £10 million of investment.
A recruitment drive is now taking place ahead of the home opening later this year, with roles on offer including care management, front of house representatives, care assistants and kitchen and domestic staff.
Stacey Linn, director of Ideal Carehomes, said: "We are very excited to be opening our first luxury care home in Dudley and are keen to hear from people living in the local community who are looking for fulfilling careers within care. Whilst our environments are second to none, it is our staff team who make our homes the best places to live. We are looking for people who really want to make a difference."
Sarah Colling, head of development and engagement, said: “The last few months have really shone a light on how amazing care workers are and it is wonderful to see them get the recognition they deserve. Our annual Ideal Care Awards is always flooded with nominations and this year will be no exception.
"We have some unique initiatives such as our Ideal Fresh Living programme which has supported our staff to be at the forefront of infection control policies and training and as a growing group of care homes, there is plenty of scope for progression for the right people."
