A NETHERTON couple have been left devastated after the theft of their beloved camper van and the sentimental items inside.
Sheila Robinson and her fiancé Matthew Collier had driven their much-loved Fiat Ducato Euro Mobil van on many road trips with family over the last six years and Sheila said: "We are absolutely gutted.
"So many memories and personal belongings in there too including Matt's baby photos and pictures of his dad who passed away. All irreplaceable."
The offender reportedly almost ploughed into a neighbour while making off with the left hand drive van (registration number NY03 SFX) which was stolen from Knowle Hill Road, Netherton, at around 6.30am on Monday (September 21).
Police say they are investigating and they have urged anyone who has seen the van to contact them on 101 or via Live Chat on the force website, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, and quote crime number 20DY/228051P/20.
