HALESOWEN College is hosting its first ever virtual open day later this month.

Prospective students along with their parents or guardians can take a virtual tour, listen to presentations from staff about college life, chat with staff and ask students a question – all from their own home.

The open event runs on Saturday October 17 from 10am till 4pm.

Potential students can learn all about what the college has to offer – the range of courses, its state of the art facilities and free coach travel.

Joanne Williams, Interim Principal at Halesowen College, said: “We are really excited to show off our fantastic facilities and the range of courses we have to offer.

“This will be our first virtual open event and a lot of planning has gone into it to make sure all our prospective students get the same experience as they would coming into college.

“There will be a live chat and the option to ask students questions about the college and our community.”

Register your interest on the Halesowen College website using the link provided for the October Open Event and for the other events listed.

There will also be a limited number of in person tours around campus on a first come basis – also subject to Government restrictions.

The college said these will only take place if safe at the time.

Other Open Events will also be held on Wednesday November 11 from 4pm to 7pm, Saturday January 23, 2021 from 10am to 2pm and Tuesday April 27, 2021, from 4pm to 7pm.
