THREE new stores have opened at a Dudley shopping centre, bringing an exciting start to 2021 for local shoppers.
The Churchill Shopping Centre has welcomed discount retailer MaxiSaver, cake shop Cakebox and Caribbean cafe Pat Black's Talk of the Town.
And in further good news Gather coffee shops is set to double the size of its shop.
Cakebox, which specialises in freshly baked egg-free cakes, cupcakes and celebration cakes, has agreed a 10-year lease, while discount retailer MaxiSaver has opened a large store in units 10-12.
Pat Black’s Talk of the Town, an authentic Caribbean food business, has also opened its eighth West Midlands’ outlet at the shopping centre, agreeing a 10-year lease.
Gather coffee shop is an existing tenant but is to double the size of its shop, which is due to open in February, subject to the Government restrictions.
Rob Ellis, asset manager at LCP, which owns and manages the Churchill Shopping Centre, said: “It’s great to welcome four new tenants to the centre at the start of 2021, all of whom add a fresh, new offer for our local customers.
"With so much work going on in Dudley to help revitalise the town, it’s pleasing that retailers can see the benefit of opening a store here.”
