A DRIVE-BY gunman shot at a man who was sitting inside a BMW in a Bilston street

The offender, who is being hunted by police, shot at a the vehicle in Great Bridge Road.

The incident happened at around 6.30pm on Monday (January 18).

The man in the car, who police said was in his 20s, was not injured.

Officers are appealing for anyone with dash-cam footage to get in touch.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We are investigating after shots were fired at a man in a white BMW in Great Bridge Road, Bilston, at just after 6.30pm on Monday (18 January).

"The man in his 20s was not injured and it is understood the offenders left the scene in a vehicle.

"The area remains sealed off as a forensic examination is carried out and enquiries continue.

"Anyone with information or who has dash-cam footage, is asked to contact us via live chat on our website or by calling 101. Please quote log number 3639 of 18 January.
