A Dudley man has been placed under curfew after racially harassing a police officer. Jack Burns, aged 20, of Arcal Street, Sedgley, pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay £195 in costs and compensation. He was put on electronic monitoring for an 8-week curfew from 7pm to 6am.

A Stourbridge man has been hit with a ‘bill’ of £7,481 after he admitted allowing premises to be used which were shut for safety reasons. Dharminder Singh Dale, of Platts Crescent, had knowingly allowed a building in Walsall to be used when it had been prohibited under the Housing Act because of an electrical hazard. He was fined £5,000, ordered to pay £2,300 costs and to pay £181 into the victim services fund.
A Rowley Regis man has been £150 and ordered to pay £269 in costs and compensation after stealing cash from an Oldbury garage. Matthew Tierney, aged 35, of Durham Road, admitted stealing, jointly with another man, an unknown amount of cash from a Texaco service station.
Mark Bromham, aged 38, of Olive Hill Road, Halesowen, was ordered to pay £157 in costs and victim surcharge after he admitted being drunk and disorderly in Hagley Road. He was given a conditional discharge for a year.
Halesowen drink-driver Lee Frederick William Giles has been banned for two years and ordered to pay £230 in costs. Giles, aged 46, of Lyttleton Avenue, admitted driving a Land Rover on Hurst Green Road with 212 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood,. The limit is 80. A community order was made, including 120 hours unpaid work.
A Dudley woman who admitted two theft charges has been given a ten-week suspended prison sentence. Michelle Hadley, aged 34, of Smith Street, stole deodorant worth £64 from Poundland in Dudley and various fragrances worth £649 from Debenhams in Worcester. The jail term was suspended for nine months, and she was ordered to pay £313 in costs.
A Dudley man who drove without insurance and obstructed a police officer has been ordered to £429 in fines and costs. Muthee Ur-Rehman, aged 25, of Church Road, Netherton, admitted driving a Qashqai at Doulton Road without insurance and obstructing a police officer at Oldbury.
A Dudley teenager who had a knuckle duster and cocaine in his possession has been ordered to undergo alcohol and drug rehabilitation. Joshua Dale Deans, aged 19, of Heath Road, Saltwells, admitted driving without a licence or insurance on Saltwells Road; having an offensive weapon in Cole Street; and possessing cocaine. He was placed on a community order and ordered to pay £400 in fines and costs.
Jeremy Drew, aged 58, of Park Road West, Wollaston, Stourbridge, was ordered to pay £419 in fines and costs after he admitted assaulting a police officer.
Drink-drive suspect Rajeev Sagar has been banned for 20 month and ordered to undergo alcohol rehabilitation. Sagar, aged 47, of Hollymount, Halesowen, admitted failing to provide a breath specimen at Oldbury. He was placed on a community order and must pay £430 in fines and costs.
