A DUDLEY youth club catering for young people with special educational needs and disabilities is looking forward to running in person events and trips.
All Star Youth Club which is based at Wellington Road Community Centre on Wellington Road has been unable to to hold their usual weekly meetings due to the Coivd pandemic.
Although restrictions are set to be fully relaxed, the club are unable to resume at the community centre until September 14 as it is being used as a vaccination centre.
However the club are still due to hold a charity ball on September 3 at The Dudley Arms to raise funds for their vital voluntary service.
All stars is a non profit organisation and not a registered charity so relies heavily on funding.
Chair of the All Stars Youth Club committee, Charlotte Maher-Butler, said she cannot wait to resume events with members.
She said: "We are all so excited for our charity ball and the people at Dudley Arms have been amazing offering their venue for free - we want to say a massive thank you!
"Throughout the pandemic we have adapted our club to be virtual and have moved to do interactive games over Zoom and ahve even delivered crafts to our member's houses.
"We felt through Covid we needed to do something so our members still had a routine."
The club are also running two other events at Himley Hall and Mark Butler Golf academy, who have applied for funding, enabling members' to play golf for free.
JPG Roofing, QB Roofing and Bally's Castles also support the club, offering financial help for events.
Charlotte and volunteer Hayley Turner are also set to jump 1000 feet out of a plane to raise funds on September 24.
Charlotte added: "There are not many services like ours that cater for young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
"It allows our members the opportunity to socialise with others in a fun and safe environment whilst providing parents/carers some respite.
"I feel very strongly about ensuring that the Youth Club can continue to stay open and therefore trying to help by carrying out a fundraiser for them."
