FREE swimming returns this weekend and throughout the Christmas holidays at borough leisure centres.
The free sessions are available at Dudley Council's Crystal Leisure Centre and Dudley Leisure Centre for Dudley borough residents aged 16 and under from Saturday December 18 until Monday January 3 2022.
People need to register in advance online if they have not previously registered at freeswimindudley.co.uk
Councillor Simon Phipps, Dudley's cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise, said: "It’s great to see free swimming return once again to our leisure centres.
"It gives families the opportunity to be active together and to take a break from the festivities if they are celebrating.
"The free sessions are always popular and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis."
Crystal Leisure Centre will also be offering a family fun disability session on Friday December 31 from 2pm to 4pm - for people with disabilities, special educational needs, ASD and their families.
This is not a coached session and children under eight must be accompanied in and out of the water by a responsible person aged at least 16. Free swimming is available during this session for eligible children.
The leisure centres will be closed on December 24, 25 and 26 and on Saturday January 1.
