House prices increased slightly in Dudley in November, new figures show.
The boost contributes to the longer-term trend, which has seen property prices in the area achieve 9.3% annual growth.
The average Dudley house price in November was £208,081, Land Registry figures show – a 0.9% increase on October.
Over the month, the picture was less good than that across West Midlands, where prices increased 1.9%, and Dudley underperformed compared to the 1.2% rise for the UK as a whole.
Over the last year, the average sale price of property in Dudley rose by £18,000 – putting the area 20th among West Midlands’s 30 local authorities with price data for annual growth.
The best annual growth in the region was in Wychavon, where property prices increased on average by 22.8%, to £347,000. At the other end of the scale, properties in North Warwickshire gained just 2.4% in value, giving an average price of £225,000.
