A MAN from Cradley Heath has been handed an eight-week jail term suspended for 12 months for carrying a blade.
On February 11, Stephen Vincent of Briery Close was found with a knife in Asda multistorey car park in Halesowen.
The 19-year-old, who admitted the charge, must be under curfew with electronic monitoring for four weeks.
Meanwhile, a man from Oldbury has been handed a community order after growing cannabis.
Between January 17 and February 17, 2020, Rashid Hussain of Pool Lane produced a quantity of cannabis.
Hussain must carry out unpaid work for 140 hours within the next twelve months.
After pleading guilty to the offence, the 41-year-old was old ordered to pay £135 in costs and a victim surcharge of £95.
A man from Oldbury has been fined after drug driving.
Jayinder Gakhal of Garratt Close admitted driving a silver Audi without insurance on Stanhope Road, Smethwick before a drugs test showed he had 6.6 micrograms of cannabis per litre of blood.
The 40-year-old was fined £240 and must pay a £34 victim surcharge and £135 in costs.
He is disqualified from driving for 12 months.
A man from Brierley Hill has been handed a community order after driving whilst disqualified.
Joshua Stevens of Dadford View drove a motor vehicle on Dudley Road East while disqualified from driving and without insurance on January 11.
The 27-year-old admitted the offence and was ordered to pay a £95 victim surcharge and pay £135 in costs.
Stevens must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work within the next twelve months.
