UNIDENTIFIED sparkles in the sky have been captured on camera in the Black Country.
Do you know what they could be?
Former Dudley man Jamie Wentworth, aged 32, noticed the strange phenomenon in the sky while in his garden in Wolverhampton on Monday August 8.
He said he couldn’t explain what he saw but whatever it was “kept disappearing and reappearing leaving what looked like multiple sparkles as it showed itself”.
He tried to film the object on his iPhone SE 2020 but he said: “The sparkles looked way brighter in person than what can be seen on the footage.”
Self-employed Jamie, who lives near Penn Road, said he was having a cigarette outside when he noticed the lights high in the sky.
He said: “I happened to look up and caught a glimpse of it sparkling and then it vanished, then showed again nearby.”
This happened multiple times, he said, on and off for 10 to 15 minutes.
He said: “I got the best clips I could on the phone I have. It was virtually above the town centre and very high.”
He sent in the images in the hope someone else may have seen the strange sparkles and might know what they were.
He said: “I’m usually sceptical about this sort of thing but when you see it with your own eyes it makes you think twice.”
