TWO women were taken to hospital after a car crashed into houses in Netherton.
The crash happened on Simms Lane, near the Link Academy school, at 2.28pm today (Tuesday November 1) - with police, firefighters and an ambulance at the scene.
The car had crashed into the porches of two houses.
Firefighters said the homes were not structurally damaged in the incident.
Two women - the driver and passenger were taken to Russells Hall hospital.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
"Upon arrival we found two women who were the driver and passenger in the car.
"They were assessed and had sustained injuries not believed to be serious.
"They were conveyed to Russells Hall Hospital for further assessment.”
Firefighters from Brierley Hill and Haden Cross were at the scene.
A spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service said: “Crews found that a car had left the road and crashed into the porches of two houses.
"Thankfully the occupants of the car had managed to safely get out of the car prior to our arrival, and the structural integrity of the houses were not compromised.
“The vehicles were made safe and the occupants of the car were checked at the scene by West Midlands Ambulance Service.
"West Midlands Police were also in attendance to help manage the incident.”
