MOTORISTS can expect delays while emergency works to repair a water leak take place in Pensnett.
South Staffordshire Water has submitted an immediate permit to repair the leak at Commonside – around 100 metres from the junction Bryce Road junction.

Two-way traffic signals will be in place while the work is underway.
Dudley Council’s network manager Andrew Sumner said: “South Staffordshire water have confirmed that the signals on site are AVR controlled which will help alleviate disruption, however due to the proximity to the existing fixed signals, congestion is extremely likely to occur, especially at peak times and motorists are therefore advised to seek alternative routes.”
The work is scheduled to run from today (Thursday January 5) to January 9.
