A WEATHER WARNING has been issued after 50 MPH "strong and gusty" winds are forecasted for today.
The Met Office has released a yellow weather warning as strong winds are set to hit the Black Country.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Southwesterly winds will widely gust to between 50 and 55 mph with gusts reaching 60 to 65 mph over some exposed coasts and hills.
"The highest gusts are expected between mid-morning and mid-afternoon."
The warning is in action between 10am and 8pm today.
