THE historic coronation of King Charles III is to be broadcast live on a big screen at Himley Hall and Park.
The large screen will be located in the grounds of the Dudley Council-run park.
Deck chairs will be in place to allow members of the public to sit and watch the crowning of the King and the Queen Consort from 9.30am on Saturday (May 6).
Visitors will be able to bring picnics or purchase food and drinks from Himley Hall Coffee Lounge, which will be open for extended hours from 9am to 5.30pm on coronation day.
The lounge will be offering a special British themed menu, including coronation cupcakes, scones with jam and clotted cream, coronation chicken baguettes, and more sweet and savoury treats.
Families will also be able to enjoy a free Gnome on the Throne coronation trail with clues located across the park.
Activity sheets can be collected from the terrace by the hall.
Kevin O'Keefe, chief executive of Dudley Council, said: "The coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla will be a hugely significant moment in the history of our country.
"We’re very pleased to offer residents the opportunity to come together as a borough, watch the coronation ceremony and celebrate this wonderful occasion in the stunning setting of Himley Hall and Park."
The event is free with no tickets required.
The standard car parking charges at the park will apply.
