THE main swimming pool at Dudley's Duncan Edwards Leisure Centre has now re-opened in time for the half-term holiday.
Council bosses said yesterday (Thursday) that the pool had been closed due to a technical fault but it has now been confirmed that it’s back open.
A statement on the leisure centre's website said: "The main pool has now re-opened following a technical fault. We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.”
A council spokesperson added that there'd been a fault with the pump in the pool.
The multi-million pound leisure centre, on Constitution Hill, opened in January 2022 - replacing the old Dudley Leisure Centre in Wellington Road.
Free swimming is offered to children in the Dudley borough throughout the school holiday, from Saturday May 27 to Sunday June 4.
