THERE were celebrations at a Dudley pub at the weekend to mark Dudley Town FC’s remarkable league win and promotion.
After a very successful season, the club secured a well-deserved promotion to The Midlands Premier League – its first in 38 years!
To celebrate the victory, which marks a milestone in the football club’s history, The Fellows Pub on The Broadway organised a grand celebration for the team and its loyal army of supporters.
The revamped pub’s newly refurbished function room played host to the club’s end of league presentation on Saturday May 27 - commemorating the team’s unwavering determination and success this season.
Vicky Wolohan, owner of The Fellows Pub, said: "We are thrilled to have hosted Dudley Town FC as they celebrate their well-deserved league win and promotion.
“This was a momentous occasion for the team and our local community; an unforgettable evening of celebrations to show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication."
