A MAN has been charged after being pulled over on suspicion of drink driving in Dudley.
Brierley Hill Police arrested the driver, who had been spotted driving without his car headlights on, on Duncan Edwards Way.
Taking to Twitter to highlight the incident, police said: “Overnight our attention was drawn to a car driving without headlights and its poor manner of driving.
“Car stopped and strong smell coming from the vehicle.
“Driver arrested.
“He has now been charged and bailed to attend court.”
West Midlands Police later confirmed a 39-year-old man was charged with drink driving after being arrested on Duncan Edwards Way on Monday August 7.
A spokesperson for the force added: “He has been bailed to appear at Dudley Magistrates Court on August 24.”
