A SUSPECTED car thief allegedly attempted to flee police by hopping over gardens after a car was stolen in Dudley.
Police spotted the car two minutes after it was taken in an overnight burglary.
Following a pursuit, the driver was arrested and remanded in custody.
Aerial pictures shared on Twitter by the National Police Air Service, show him attempting to climb a garden fence during the pursuit.
Another image shows the driver in handcuffs.
A police spokesperson said: "This car was stolen in an overnight burglary from Dudley just two minutes before we saw it.
"The driver was arrested after a pursuit thanks to teamwork with @NPASMidlands despite the drivers best efforts at garden hopping.
"He has since been remanded in custody."
