A fearless feline has been spotted exploring the animal enclosures at Dudley Zoo.
Staff at the attraction are appealing for information after seeing a black cat that keeps trying to get up close with the wild animals.
The Facebook post said: “We think it’s owned as it’s wearing a collar, but it keeps getting into animal enclosures and won’t let keepers anywhere near it to be able to catch it and scan for a microchip.”
Worried followers called the feline “very brave” with others saying they had phoned the zoo to check it wasn’t their cat.
Another person added: “I hope someone comes forward to get this little one before anything happens to it.”
Dudley Zoo has opted not to show a picture of the collar in the hope that the rightful owner will be able to correctly identify the cat.
The owners or anyone with information are being urged to contact the Dudley Zoo office on 01384 215313.
