A 44-year-old man has been charged with burglary after cash was stolen from a house in Sandwell.
The home in West Bromwich was broken into on Tuesday night (October 17) with a sum of money taken from the property.
Dean Thompson, who is from Wednesbury, has been charged with the offence and will appear in court this morning (Thursday, October 19).
West Midlands Police said: “This incident comes as we’re working together with partners to tackle crime, anti-social behaviour and other community concerns through the current ‘Safer 6’ campaign in Sandwell.
“We’re joining Sandwell Council, West Midlands Fire Service and other agencies to address issues that matter.”
