Officers spotted a car linked to multiple thefts whilst out on patrol over the bank holiday weekend.
Brierley Hill Police said the occupants of the vehicle attempted to evade them but they managed to detain them for search.
A spokesperson for Brierley Hill Police said: “Checks revealed the driver was already on licence from prison and had no licence or insurance.
“We seized the car and reported the driver to court.”
