A HIMLEY pub has closed its doors to the public to undergo a major refurbishment.
Himley House near Dudley is to be transformed with a six-figure investment, pub company bosses have said.
The Georgian pub, part of the Chef & Brewer portfolio, closed today (Monday January 2) and will reopen in March, following extensive internal and external renovations to the pub and hotel rooms.
Himley House was originally part of the Himley Hall estate - the former home of the Lords of Dudley.
It was converted into a pub restaurant and hotel in the early 20th century.
