A man has been charged with more than a dozen car key burglaries across Dudley, Wolverhampton and Birmingham.
Kyron Clifton, aged 18, from Darlaston, was arrested at an address in Walsall on Monday morning (January 8) on suspicion of burglary after a series of offences were reported in the county.
After being investigated by Wolverhampton’s CID team, he was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, conspiracy to steal motor vehicles and robbery.
It was part of wider investigations into a series of car key burglaries and theft of vehicles predominantly in Wolverhampton and Dudley and also in Birmingham during October last year.
Clifton appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court yesterday (Tuesday, January 9) where he was remanded in custody until the next hearing on 6 February at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
