A car was pursued by a firearms unit in a late night police chase in Dudley.
The vehicle was stolen in a carjacking in the area yesterday evening (Friday, January 26) before being spotted by officers from West Midlands Police.
The team pursued the car with the help of the Firearms Unit after the driver started ramming several police cars in an effort to get away and evade being caught.
A spokesperson for the West Midlands Police Traffic Unit said: "This car was stolen in a carjacking last night in Dudley. We pursued it with our Firearms Unit soon after where it rammed several police cars trying to get away.
"The driver was only released from prison a week ago for the same offence. He’s received another 'Go to Jail' card."
